My friend, Jackie Slade brought Birthright to Framingham. She, along with many volunteers worked for many years to help mothers who did not abort their babies. She worked hard at Birthright, till she finally had to hand over the reins to younger volunteers. Jackie was always a strong Pro-lifer. When we all lived in FL, on Pro-Life Sunday my husband and I would drive to Jackie's church for Mass. (she would have two seats saved for us) After Mass we would pick up our signs and with others would line the streets for unborn babies. Jackie loved this, she would laugh and sing and wave to cars, all the while dragging her oxygen tank along with her. I believe in heaven many babies who did not survive abortion, would eagerly meet her as she arrived there. They would know Jackie Slade had been their friend. I loved her dearly.
