To Mary and Family,
So sorry to hear about your loss. My son Matt remembers Lou helping him figure out how to separate an egg for a salad he was making for a school project. And every party had a tray of great meats. He will be missed.

Louie's mother and my grandmother turned out to be the best of friends as they both came to this country from Abruzzi, Italy. Once a week my grandmother would walk from Belvidere Rd to Mrs. Cintolo's house and spend the day...Every day in the summer a bunch of us kids would ride our bikes to Butterworth Park and play baseball all day. Of course on the way back we would always stop at Cintolo's and get sodas...I think all the boys including myself, had a kids crush on Louis' sister Mary with her one million megawatt smile.
Many,many fond memories.

So very sorry for your loss. I used to stop almost every morning on the way to work. We had some fun conversations. Louie knew my Uncle Charlie from years ago. Living in Framingham most of your life brought some very wonderful friends. You will be missed. I will always remember your smile. You made my day. My heart is with the Cintolo family. God Bless you all.

In behalf of the entire Pizzano family formerly of Natick, we were very sorry to hear about Lou.

I remember fondly biking down to the grocery store to buy a coke. It was easy going downhill at the bottom of Hartford Street; much harder going back.

Over the past several years, it was always on my to-do list to visit Lou and Mary at the grocery store even though it had been 30 years since I had left Natick. The stories and the memories were wonderful.

Few people like the Cintolo's and even fewer institutions such as the grocery store are around today...and we are the worse for it.
