I was Mimi and Nikki's veterinarian before Lola and Mike moved to AZ. They always took such wonderful care of them. They were 2 of the most loved dogs I know. I will miss Mike's smile and all of the complaints about the bills! We all will miss Mimi, she had the most adorable face. Lola, we will think of you always, keep in touch.

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Mimi and Mike cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I met Mike while stationed in Memphis, TN in 1957. We then served together in Brunswick, ME and I had the opportunity to spend a couple of weekends with his family in Roslindale. We had some great times together. Mike was a good friend and a good man. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Square Dancing of course. We were in the same Square Dance Class at the Square Riggers SDC in Wellesley. We became class advisors and Square danced all over New England. Good Times.

Great memories of Mike & Lola over the years at Sunflower. I enjoyed every season arriving knowing that Mike's big smile will soon greet me with some stories which happened over the summer. We alway's shared many chuckles in the stained glass shop. I am forever blessed to have met such a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend over the years. Thank you, Mike for being that extra ear for me over the years. We will all miss you.....Until then my friend ..... debi & Barry Emmons
