Matthew P. Bova of Randolph, died October 3, 2015. Matthew grew up in Boston and also lived in Weymouth for many years before moving to Randolph 20 years ago. He retired from LoJack after many years as an accounts receivable specialist. After retiring, Matthew dedicated many years of his time to caring for his parents and other family members. In his spare time he enjoyed summers on Onset Beach, spending time with his grandchildren and watching game shows. He had an appreciation for good food, especially Chinese food and a soft spot for animals. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his calm and honest demeanor. He was the devoted father of Stephen Bova, Michelle Lydon and her husband Thomas and Rene McWalter and her husband Keith, all of Weymouth; former husband of Diane (Smith) Bova of Weymouth; Papa Matt to Jake, Jenna and Luke Lydon and Kayla, Tyler and Kelsey McWalter; son of the late Matthew F. Bova and Stella Orsini and her husband Dante; loving brother of the late Salvatore Bova and Carol Laun; cherished uncle of Derek Laun, his wife Michele and their children Shayla and Derelle and Mathew Laun and his children Madison and Dominick. Also lovingly survived by many additional nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 11 a.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), South Weymouth. Matt: Not a day goes by that I don't think of you.. Everytime I see a Cardinal perched at my window I know it's you! I can still see that big grin of yours and hear your unforgettable laugh!! I miss you so very much..I miss our talks, your words of wisdom. ( the flavored ice) lol!! We had ( have) a lot of memories and good times over the years. I know one day we will see each other again - until then my friend - keep on smiling and I love you!

RIP my dear dear friend! God called home a very " special angel" ! I will forever cherish all our great times over the years - From many years at Baybank to then many more years together at LoJack ! I will never forget zeppy's bagels and the zepolles... Those were good times and cherished memories. My heart is broken that you are gone BUT I know in my heart you will always be here with me! You hold a very special place in my heart forever! Ray and I will miss you my dear friend!
