Such happy memories of dear Harriet, and now a feeling of sadness to know that she has left us.

My partner and I first met Harriet on our very first visit to Positano in July 1974. We got into conversation waiting for the bus, and our friendship never looked back. We shared many happy holidays there, and will always remember the times there with Harriet, lazy days on the beach, and colourful evenings in Ciro's Bar overlooking the bay, and the boat trips out to Laurito Bay to spend the day on the beach and in the fish restaurant there.

Harriet came to visit us in London and I was pleased to meet up with her during probably her last trip to London.

We have some of Harriet's painting here to remind us of her and her great, quiet gift for friendship.

Never forgotten.

Thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. There is little that I can say or do to ease your pain and suffering. May knowing that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many, bring a measure of comfort. Life is so short and those we love are gone from our lives too quickly. God's promise to empty the grave in the near future is found at Hosea 13:14.may
the God of loyal love comfort you during your time of sorrow.2CORI. 1:3,4

Yes, indeed this photo is a wonderful capture of Our Dear Harriet and those blue eyes never faded despite her 100 years. Harriet sat in back of us at Trinity and I can still hear her giggle every Sunday when Art would tease her. Many times he would question her about her love life in Positano (she secretly loved him to tease her) and the questioning would end when she would say she would reveal all just before she died. Unfortunately Art never did find out?? I have many beautiful memories of Our Dear Friend that I will cherish and they will forever warm my heart. Loving thoughts Harriet, Joan Schiller
