...having already commented below, because I was finishing this new song when I received news of Bob's passing, and because it happens to be about coping with loss of a loved one, please allow me to post this link to the song for anyone wanting to listen to it. It's entitled, "EVER YOU." http://loosebrucekerr.com/ever-you-by-loose-bruce-kerr-audio

There were a bunch of us who would play tennis at the facility in Wellesley Mass where we would see Bob during the summer "doing his thing" We did not know him well but all of us were interested in what he was about and what he was doing. We would see Bob get out of his White van and then either onto the Court, dribbling a Soccer ball or on the Track doing a workout. We fondly referred to him as Stretch for the various interesting things he would do when warming up. We were also intrigued by his lifestyle. He was definitely a guy who made us smile and I looked up to him for all the sports he participated in and what seemed to be a life that made him happy visiting many places. We were so fascinated that we wanted to know his result in his Athletic pursuits and we would look them up on the net We all have good memories of Bob and are very sad to hear of his passing. Rest well!

Many of us at the Tennis courts in Wellesley Would see Bob back in the day either on the Courts or out on the Track or on the Field. Sometimes we would strike up conversations with him and shoot the breeze. He was a character in a good way. We would watch and grin as he would sometimes do funny stretches and would wear funny shorts and hats. Many of us were quite amused By Bob.

There was also a deep appreciation and admiration that he kept himself fit and would want to try lots of sports and do things his own way as well as compete in lots of things like tennis, Track and Field, Swimming etc... It was great that he he was able to enjoy all those pursuits and that he lived a life of youth and was not afraid to do some of these activities sometimes against people much younger than him or at a different level. Bob seemed like a one of a kind type of person who marched to the beat of his own drum.

Here's to you Stretchy!

RIP Robert Borshay

Sincerely,
The gang at the courts

I'm sorry to hear of Bob's death. We were swimming pals for many years. He was a very nice guy. Very smart too. My condolences to his sister, Barb, his mother, and the rest of Bob's family. We remember Bob fondly.
