So sorry to hear of Mrs. Loup's passing. I have found memories of living across the street from her and George.

Please accept my condolences. I met your parents one day while campaigning for re-election as their state representative in Cumberland. Your father told me that he had wanted to meet me for a long time and then proceeded to tell me that while in Switzerland, he had happily worked for the "old Mr. Gaschen", who had given your dad a clock when he emigrated to the US. Your dad proudly showed me the clock and then began to tease me like a long lost friend, as your mom watched him, smiling. Although this had to be about 35 years ago, I was moved by their kindness to me as a stranger sharing a common bond. May your mom rest in peace. Frank Gaschen

We will miss Yvette she was such a sweet lady, we met them we bought our house across the street from George and Yvette, sarah was just 6months, I would talk to them when I came home from work to get my mail and they would be sitting on the porch always a smile and always asking about our two children and always over for our kids birthdays her famous choc from Switzerland was a great treat for our kids always liked. I am sure George and Yvette are smiling down on you Christiane. May she rest and peace. and god bless.. Alan, Marguerite, Sarah and jonathan.

Yvette- cosmopolitan to the core! We will miss her warm smile & friendly personality. She was so appreciative of the blessings in her life, especially her daughter! Naming her daughter Christiane was an eloquent expression of her very strong Faith. It should comfort you, Christiane to know that your mom continues to watch over you with love.
