Louie and I shared many interests and deep connections. I fondly remember the first time we met in 1988 when he, Kathy, and their 2 dogs came to visit Kim and I in our first home in New Fairfield Ct. Right away we became fast friends. From that time forward, I always looked forward with great anticipation to our next visit. Whether it be mechanical topics including cars, engineering, construction or our conversations about the spiritual world, Louie always had fascinating things to share. He was a true friend and I will miss him dearly.

The Loss of a love one is so hard to face. Especially one of a kind Louis Nicholas Fichtner III. He opened me into his life with open arms as did Kathy. He was so wonderful, Fun, Witty always made me laugh. He was full of wisdom never wavered in his faith. No more hurt and pain shall he face. He's in a better place with his Lord God. I want to say to Kathy you were a amazing wife your unconditional love and commitment with you dear husband you never left his side no matter how hard it was you always found a way to get thru it. You are the exception to the rule you were phenomenal. I will always be grateful for being part of both your lives. God has called him home to rest I will miss him immensely...
