I'm very saddened by the news that Dr. Sandel passed away. He was an phenomenal educator, and very dedicated to bringing out the best in each and everyone student that he had at Massbay. The textbook he wrote is beautiful and well thought out, and I often use it as a reference in graduate school. To me, that book reflects the care that he took in teaching. My deepest condolences go out to his family- I'm very sorry for your loss.

Dr. Sandel was a true educator. His presence on campus at MassBay was a highlight. He loved his students and it showed.
He always spoke with great pride about his career in the military, and with greater pride, his daughters.
As a former colleague, and student, rest well friend, I wish you, and your family peace.

Ron was one of the finest men I ever met. His dedication to the Army Reserve, his organizational skills, kindness and compassion were inspirational. I find it hard to believe that he is gone and wish the best to his family during this difficult time.
