Dear Mrs. McDonough, Mary Eileen and family -
I just learned of Mr. McDonough's passing and of the many well-deserved blessings of the family he left behind. I recall with fondness his kind but firm manner and the familiar nature of a household with so many truly wonderful kids study, playing, and pursuing different interests. I recall how both you and Mr. McDonough remained so heavily involved, and that is a key to your wonderful success. God Bless you all and I hope that you have found comfort when you see his smile in your blessed progeny.

Dear McDonough family,

My deepest condolences on the loss of your father. May you find comfort in your happy memories of time spent together. He was a great Christian man and the definition of a life well-lived.
