I was saddened to hear of Uncle Don's passing. I will remember him always as a caring, loving and gentle person. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Aunt Nancy, and the family. Please let me know when a service will be held. All my love, Denicé

Uncle Don you will be missed tremendously. I want to share something that he did for me that meant so much to me. We would often discuss our vegetable gardens and what was growing well and what wasn't and share different things we've tried over the years, sometimes they worked and sometimes they didn't. When we moved to Templeton I had to use a lot of compost due to there was very little soil to work with, I would tell him that no matter what I did I couldn't get the worms to come and work their magic. One day while we were visiting with him and aunt Nancy he disappeared for a moment and returned and handed me what I thought was a jar of dirt but as I looked a little closer I noticed the dirt moving, and the look of joy and excitement came over my face and only he and I knew how much that meant to me. You see he had taken the time to dig up some worms and keep them for me until I visited again. The gift of earth worms became an ongoing part of our relationship.

These little things that you did is what made you such a great person, you will be greatly missed. Till we meet again.. Rest in peace. Love and Prayers for you and your family..
