To the Roberts and Gemmato Families,
I am so sorry for your great loss. Susan was a sweet, compassionate and cheerful person who bore her afflictions with grace and dignity. I have countless memories of her, all fond and full of laughter. From sleepovers listening to Beatles' music and lessons at the Museum of Fine Arts, to romping around Italy with Sister Cathy and Cousin Tony, it was a joy to share my childhood and teen years with her. Later she and the boys visited John and me in our California home and more recently during my trips to Boston, we shared a few Thursday night dinners together with Uncle Geno and her parents at the Watertown family home. The last day we spent together was in September of 2015. We attended noon Mass at St. Elizabeth's Hospital followed by lunch in Copley Square and a lovely walk along the Charles River reminiscing. John and I have prayed often for her strength and courage over the years to fight the good fight and fight she did, thanks be to God!. I am confident that she is now in heaven praying for all of us and I will miss her and never forget her. She was truly a precious gift to all of us. Much love from Cousin Annie.
