My sincere condolences to the family. The first year without your loved one can be so hard to face, but the love of family and friends can carry you through. Please lean on God for comfort during this most difficult time because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6,7).

What a wonderful - full - life you lived. I wish I could have seen the happy reunion of you and Uncle Ernie seeing each other again. You will very much be missed by all of us. You were always there for all of the family and you could still dance up a storm - at 96 years old. Sail on Aunt Sis...sail on. You will always be remembered.

I have adored Libby since I met her about 7 years ago when I first joined the church. She reminded me of my own grandmother. My children adore her as well and we were all so sad to hear about her sudden passing. She lived a remarkable life and lived her life completely and with full mental clarity until the last minute. She clearly has left a remarkable legacy. I didn't think I could admire her more but seeing she was much older than I realized (!!) and such an accomplished scientist at a time when most women were relegated to a domestic role...she holds an even higher place in my esteem. I know she is with her husband and creator. I will miss those sparkling blue eyes and soft voice each Sunday. I am sad to be out of town this weekend but wanted you, her family to know how much each and every member of our congregation adored (and will continue to adore) Libby.
Fondly,
Nancy Laste
