Hi, I am sorry for your loss. May the God of comfort and peace be with you and your family. 2 Corinthans 1: 3 & 4

Memories of my cousin, Joan, transcend over 60 years, when each summer my family travelled from Wisconsin to Boston to visit my father's sister, Louise Guaragna and her family. Joan was big sister to Marilyn and Little Louise, as she was known, and during those trips to Boston, I was her little brother. She loved children, and in retrospect, it would have been easy to conclude Joan was destined to be a terrific mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worshipped her parents, Louis and Louise, and husband Joe. Joan was a champion of children and animals, and equality for everyone. Her sense of humor was priceless, and laugh contagious. All who knew Joan loved her, and that love was returned many times over.

Joe, Joanne, and Jacquie, my most heartfelt condolences to you. I always found your mother to be an incredibly kind -- genuinely kind -- woman. She was an amazing woman, and she always had my utmost respect and deserved every bit of it. I admired her warmth, and appreciated her wit, her wisdom, and her incredible sense of humor. May God Bless you and your family, and may He deliver comfort to you in the wake of this time of great sadness.
