Just got the news that my friend and former employer Ed Brennan of Scituate passed away on Non 22. I first met Ed in 1967 while working at Jerry's Atlantic service station on Front Street. Several years later I went to work for him and continued to work for him until the day I left Scituate. I got to see him in August when I was back in Scituate. I am glad to have worked for Ed and to have known him and his wonderful family. Ed loved country music and loved to yodel, Ed was a professional boxer before coming to the United States. Once when working on the roof of the Jack Conway building Ed offered to give me some on the spot lessons, the rest of the crew just stopped what they were doing and backed up not know what might happen. We laughed. He had quite a story to tell, glad I got to hear it. My prayers and sympathies to his family and friends. Rest in Peace Ed. Gary Bowes - LK Havasu AZ

My first hockey coach as a kid, more than fair and tough as they come! I was one of the smallest guys out there and he used to always ask me if I was afraid. I'd learned by sayin " no coach I ain't afraid of one guy out there " " ok good " he'd say " get ready to go back out" my condolences to his family he was truly one of a kind ! R.I.P. Mr. Brennan .

My heartfelt sympathies to all the Brennans on the passing of such a wonderful man. I know he was met at the pearly gates with open arms. May your Mother and Dad rest in peace together. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
