Marilyn, Frank and I just learned of your recent loss. We are so very sorry and want you to know that we wish you and your family peace and the knowledge that your friends (even old ones) are with you in spirit, though so far away in miles.

Lawrence Academy at Groton is where I knew Bobby. He was a very good guy, and we've stayed in touch since then til now. His classmates and schoolmates will miss him. Buck Davis

We were so sad to hear of Bob's passing on our return from Florida. He was one of a kind and will be missed. We had many fun days and nights in Scituate growing up. Bob handled his illness with such grace and bravery. Our sincere sympathy to Marilyn and the entire Serino family.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a great man. When I joined the OCC in 1984 he was so welcoming and constructive and professional and honest -- attributes he carried throughout my dealings with him for the next 25 years. He was a great influence on me and many others at the OCC and in the banking and legal professions.

Our paths did not cross often over the past 15 years, but when they did I knew I could count on him being the same pillar of strength and integrity that I first met more than three decades ago. I am so sorry for his family and friends.
