Please except my most heart felt sympathy. Ronnie will be truly missed by everyone, I had the great pleasure of knowing him for many years. He was always a welcome face at Jamie's in North Scituate were I waited on him many, many times. He was one of a kind. RIP Ronnie we all will miss you.

To the family of Ronnie,

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you on the passing of a beloved man. After reading his obituary, it is obvious that Ronnie was loved by many. You dont't know me, but my name is Tommy Morrill, a lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. I am a former lifeguard and current high school principal. Many of our closest friends and families boated over to the Don Ceasar to enjoy lunch and the great weather this past Memorial Day. As I heard the cries for help for Ronnie in the ocean, my dear friends and I were the first responders who began to work on Ronnie on the sandbar in an attempt to save his life. My friend Jeff is a trauma surgeon at one of our best hospitals. Walt and Andy, two other of my closest friends, responded immediately. The four of us were extremely concerned once we brought Ronnie to shore and paramedics arrived. We did not know much about Ronnie's condition, and I was optimistic that he had a chance of survival. I have thought about Ronnie since my first encounter with him in the water, all of us have, and feel blessed that I, along with my dear friends, we're able to provide assistance to give Ronnie a chance of recovery. Again, the Adalia family (the name of the street where we all live) mourns the loss of a wonderful man! He is in a better place and may God rest his sole and comfort his family and friends.
