To Ken,Jeff, and Greg :
My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. I considered her not just the mother of some of my students, but rather a friend. Every conversation we ever had was one with at least one good laugh. Funny how we think people will go on forever and that's just not the way it is. Your mother brought joy and care to a great host of people and I am privileged to be among that number. The years sped by but those memories are still fresh. She often liked to remind me that she earned part of my masters degree because she did a great deal of typing for me. Thanks for sharing her with all of us in Stoughton.

I wish there were more current pictures. I believe I worked with her about 40 years ago or so at John J. Rogers & Son Insurance. Great Lady.
I think of her and Jack when I pass that house at the intersection of Rte 27 and Central St.

To the family of Madelyn.
I met Madelyn just 4 years ago.
My dad is a barber in stoughton.
(since 1957) barber's know everybody. Jack was a long time customer.I ended up passing the interview with Madelyn for the landscape maintenance of her property. LoL. It was from this point on that she had me laughing until I had to shut down the business due to the awful economy we live in.I know a lot of people and
without question Madelyn was by far the most humorous lady I have ever met. And here is why.
Political correctness is a very bad problem for our society.
We were a match because we never let this stop speaking the truth. Madelyn knew both of my parents and as you know we are part of the "old" Stoughton and old school. She like many of my older customers taught me many things about life.I nnever got to see her. I wanted to. I know my parents saw her at CVS recently and it was a bit of a sad surprise to get the news.
In closing I loved her and I will NEVER forget her and her dead pan humor. The way wives and mom's were supposed to be she Is a role model. Not to take away from the hard work of the current generation of good mom's. It's just the times now.We spoke about the world, hence myself having more knowledge due to her.I'm so happy we had a brief friendship madelyn.
Thankyou sincerely for the laughs !
