Rosalie Ewing Obituary

Rosalie D. (Porter) Ewing, 91, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died at Braemoor Health Center in Brockton Saturday, Aug. 31. She was the wife of the late Earl C. Ewing Jr. Born in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Mrs. Ewing was a homemaker. She was very active at the First United Methodist Church in Stoughton for many years. She enjoyed camping, reading, knitting, traveling, the Boston Celtics and spending time with her family. Mrs. Ewing was the mother of Larry Porter and Barry Porter both of Florida, Cheryl A. Malley of Halifax, Donna E. Ewing of Weymouth, Pamela L. Parker of Stoughton, Debra M. Cody of New York, Scott A. Ewing of Easton and the late Earl C. Buddy Ewing III. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosalies memory may be made to the Alzheimers Assn., 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472. Guest book and obituary at www.farleyfh.com.
