I remember as a young child visiting my grandmother's house and Aunt Joanie coming home from work at Diamond Crystal. She was always there to give a hug and I loved her laugh! I remember staying with her and my uncle Bobby before they even had children. I remember at age 11 thinking that she was a COOL aunt and she was!! As I grew into a teenager one of the things that I remember was what a great listener she was, one of the best. Ultimately, she introduced me to my husband of 43 years, Bobby, disguised as a babysitting venture. He also spent many an evening playing cribbage with Joanie before I even knew him. There are so many great memories. She and her husband would host the annual Father's Day BBQ with softball game, recipes, sleep overs, phone calls, etc. We have all lost a wonderful woman.

Our sincerest condolences to the entire family that is dealing with the loss of this great woman......Aunt Joan. Love, Kathy & Bobby
