PS I forgot Anne's name but didn't forget her-she was a delightful presence in my classroom.

To Dr. Hinckley and his outstanding family. I was extremely saddened to hear of the loss of Carol. I will never forget all the energy, effort and time she spent on the school board along with many other community committees. I was fortunate to have taught 2 out of 3 of your children-Debbie and Chip and always felt an enduring connection with your family. Carol's warm, loving personality just made you want to spend time in her presence. I haven't forgotten your caring nature in attending to my eyes over the years-no one could fill your shoes!!! I live in Tucson AZ. now, but miss the eastcoast where I spent
most of my life. I was truly blessed to have met and taught your children and had many conversations with Carol. When family names are mentioned, I always think of the Hinckleys-how fortunate I was in meeting all of you. Condolences and blessings from your eternal Kindergarten teacher Phyllis Cavender

Kind, perceptive, insightful, collaborative, these are just some of the descriptions that come to mind in recalling Carol. A strong, appreciative supporter of the schools and especially of the professional and support staff, she worked tirelessly to uphold and improve the quality of the Weston Public Schools.
I am saddened by her loss and wish to convey deepest condolences to her immediate and extended family. On this Thanksgiving Day, I am personally grateful to have known Carol and to have had the privilege of working with her.
