I am just learning of the passing of FF and am deeply saddened. Although I haven't seen him in many years, I was fortunate to have worked under him at BWH from 1987-1993, up until when he left for MGH. Dr. Frigoletto always made you feel good about the work you were doing. We often spoke of our Italian heritage. My thoughts are with Martha and his girls and their families.

In 1968 Dr. Frigoletto was preparing for an in-utero transfusion and all went well, During the second transfusion the radiologist did not perform his part as well as Dr. Frigoletto thought he should and excused himself, took the radiologist aside went into another room and returned--then the transfusion went well! My daughter was born 6 weeks early and Dr. Frigoletto came to my room and we talked about "his" baby girl. He was such a caring man and gave me such confidence in his part of taking care of her before she was born and after. I will never forget him and his caring, supportive demeanor.

I was so saddened to just learn of the passing of Dr. Frigoletto. I was the practice manager at the old Lying-In back in the 70's until 1981 for the newly developed attending/fellow/resident OB-GYN practice and I could always count on Dr. Frigoletto for his clear thinking and guidance and sense of humor. His legacy will be the women he served and the children he brought into this world. His comforting demeanor could calm the most nervous of patients and even when he had bad news to deliver he was remarkable. I thank him for his service and his love of medicine. RIP.
My husband is Fred too so i used to kid him that I had Fred's wherever I was. He sends his condolences to the whole family too.

Thanks for sharing him with all of us. Our deepest sympathy.
