Elaine (Kopacz) Holloran, 89 of Needham passed peacefully on August 16, 2018. Elaine was born in Irvington, NJ and raised in Clifton Park, NY. She graduated salutatorian in the same class as her sweetheart Ted, and attended the Mildred Elley Secretarial School for Girls in Albany, NY before working as a secretary at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory. Ted and Elaine moved to Needham in 1961 to raise their family where they lived together until her passing. Elaine will be remembered as a picture of kindness, compassion, and strength. Her example of love lives on through all her family and friends. Elaine is the beloved wife of Frederick Ted Holloran. Loving mother of Timothy & Mary Jo Holloran of Towson, MD and Laurie & Carl Tarabelli of Needham, MA and loving grandmother to Sean, Kyle (wife Elyse), Kevin, Maura, Angela (husband Corey), Kate (fiancee James) and Victoria. Predeceased by her parents John and Natalie Kopacz and sister Irene Penichter. Please join the family Saturday, August 18, for an 11am funeral Mass at St Josephs Church in Needham followed by a memorial luncheon at 12:30 at the Needham Sheraton.
