Elizabeth (Kowal) Gelormini-Lucid, age 62, entered into eternal life on Sept. 5, 2013. Liz was born in Germany and raised in Jamaica Plain and West Roxbury and has lived in Westwood for many years. She worked for Performance Piping of Needham. Loving wife of Joseph A. Lucid. Beloved daughter of George Kowal of West Roxbury and the late Rosa Kowal. Devoted mother of Carl Robert Gelormini and his fiance Cassandra Hyde of Westwood, Christina M. Gelormini of Westwood and Steven Gelormini and his partner Paul Bavuso of Sharon. Beloved sister of Rose Marie Schoenhammer of Hof, Germany and the late Herbert Kowal. Loving grandmother of Victoria munchkin. Funeral was from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St., Weymouth on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, East Weymouth at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours were on Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. If desired, donations may be made in her memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Research Institute, 10 Brookline Place Brookline,Ma. 02445.
