Our best to Will's family from the family of Mac Bryan of Winston-Salem. Will was a friend of Dad's from Wake Forest and Yale. They worked on civil rights together. Dad had great stories about Will and he in Mississippi. Christianity and our moral bearing will miss him.

A truly good person committed to God's calling in ways different from mainstream Christianity. He was a champion, a champion of human rights;he was a friend to many; a wonderful story teller. Our country is better because of Dr. Will.He touched many lives.

To the Family of Will Campbell:

Truly a man of great substance, his contribution to the good of mankind will live long after his death.
So may the God of Comfort (Psalm 83:18) give you the strength, courage and peace to endure this most difficult time.
