Sky,
It's been a little over a month since you walked on and it still feels like to me it didn't really happen. You and Linda should be coming out here for the weekend and enjoying the peace you said you always felt here. When i listen to my Indian music, i think of you and remember the night Darrell introduced me to you and we talked about music. I said i loved the flutes, drums and chants of Indian music and the next thing i knew ,you had went across the street and brought back some of your music and told me to take them home and listen to them. That was the beginning of our friendship which i'm going to always remember.I was so glad when you and Linda came out for our first holiday cookout.I felt like you both enjoyed just getting together with our family and neighbors and you were both welcomed by them.I think of the times you lit sage and prayed for me when problems and my health didn't go so well. You always lifted me up and made me laugh when i didn't feel much like it.Even though you are not here in body, your spirit is.I think you are here ,out in the yard, taking care of Jacque's flowers next door or sitting on the back deck watching the birds and wildlife.I will always miss you and think of you until we meet again.
Your friend 4 -ever,
Peggy

to my friend and brother...all my life before meeting you I've always wonted to know how to get intouch with my Indian past I felt it was there but wasn't on my red road first I needed a name before I started my journey you gave me that name [Red Wolf] at first I did not understand until you shown me who and what a person I was I guess I always took for granted the things I would do for others Until you showed me thats what a wolf leader does as a Christian it's my duty to be me as an Indian I found it was my destany, as you helped me understand the wayes of both I'd like to feel that I was there for you as much as you were there for me. you never told me no I tried to honor you with the best resting, peaceful place that would be next to my family and later my resting place too I was never ashamed of you and always introduced you as a 100% blood Sioux Indian and my friend I'll always be proud that I know you and as we Indians do pass on the storys to our children my moto is [I'f people rember you name you'll live forever]...I love you my brother and friend..Red wolf[Bill carpenter]

Sky, I enjoyed speaking to you so many times and for so many hours. I am only sorry I did not get to see you personally. You taught be how to love and how to pray. You showed me kindness can heal the soul. You will be remembered.
