Being a huge Iron Butterfly fan during the 60's and on, I am so sad to hear this news.
He was great as was the band, one of my absolute favorites, there will never be any like them again. RIP Lee, I for one will miss you ! Jeanne Turpin

My memory of rocker Lee Dorman is him changing a broken bass guitar string at an Iron Butterfly concert in Framingham,Massachusetts and him telling the audience that during this , Neil Armstrong was taking his first Moon steps.

I still have the Ball album. This band was a very inportant par of my youth and I loved every minute of it! Thank you Lee and the rest of the band for my memories!
