Glen told me that he was a “lucky man.” He knew the value of a loving family and loved them all fiercely. He loved music and enjoyed life. He always seemed to have a way of giving you the best advice about whatever dilemma life would present you with. My family and I loved and respected him. He had courage and was certainly one of the bravest men I knew. He appreciated and cherished the love of his wife Sandy and never hesitated to tell her that he wouldn't know what to do without her.
When I saw this quote, it fit Glen perfectly: “Sometimes the strongest among us are the ones who smile through the pain, cry all alone and fight battles no one knows about.” That's what made him who he was.
