Whitey was always a very dedicated trade unionist. He was the representative you wanted working on your behalf as your issues were his issues. You will be missed my brother but never forgotten

Our deepest condolences to Sandy and family, Whitey will be missed by all of us. Whitey was a tremendous inspiration to me and was always available to lend an ear and offer advice in the true "Whitey" fashion. He was a great leader and true friend. He feared nothing and always stood on the side of right. I am proud to have known him and will never be able to thank him enough. Our thoughts, hearts and prayers are with you and your family.

To the Robertson family and friends,

Please accept my sincere condolences on Glen's passing. He was a special person who always stood up for his beliefs in a caring and compassionate way. I am lucky to have known him.

Glen told me that he was a “lucky man.” He knew the value of a loving family and loved them all fiercely. He loved music and enjoyed life. He always seemed to have a way of giving you the best advice about whatever dilemma life would present you with. My family and I loved and respected him. He had courage and was certainly one of the bravest men I knew. He appreciated and cherished the love of his wife Sandy and never hesitated to tell her that he wouldn't know what to do without her.
When I saw this quote, it fit Glen perfectly: “Sometimes the strongest among us are the ones who smile through the pain, cry all alone and fight battles no one knows about.” That's what made him who he was.

With my deepest sympathy. Rest in peace Whitey. He was a good man and will always be remembered fondly.
