Dear Randy, Jenny and family, I am so sorry to hear about your son Brian. Way too young and I feel so bad for all of you. I remember us playing together at our family reunions with you and Ricky and have some pictures that are lovely memories. May your wonderful memories of your son try to help you get through this awful time. I can't even imagine...

I'd like to share my impression of Brian, who I saw grow into the spectacularly loving young man that he was. When he was 15 he came to help his aunt and uncle move me and my son from Cambridge. He rode with me and my son there and back and I was stunned and pleased by his outgoing, fun-loving and cheerfull nature. Even as a teenager, he never seemed to only tolerate his mother's friend. He was happy to be helping and from everything that has been shared, I can see that he never changed. The world is less bright without him and I will miss running into him at random places and see him happy and smiling and joking. He always seemed interested in my life and was supportive when I went back to school. I am going to miss seeing that great big smile and the warmth that came with him into a room. My heart goes out for the deep loss and grieving his family will go through. I hope that knowing that Brian was so loved, that they are comforted in knowing he lived his life for every minute of the short time he was with us.

I remember having Brian with my small group for confirmation preparation. His younger brother was part of the group and Brian was the oldest of all the children. We would do a game were we would discuss a topic and you would have to choice a side(corner) to go to depending on if you agreed or disagreed. Brian was often alone on the one side and that was very important because he would often challenge the question or want to debate the topic and I very much respected that. It helped us to dialogue about how we were feeling about certain topics. It made all of us think and value what others had to say. Brian was funny and full of wit and he certainly loved people and relationships. I will always remember that.

You were one of my really great friend and I will never forget all the great memories that we shared together, from sitting in the band room and making me laugh so hard that I shot brisk out of my nose to trips to cedar point and riding the magnum for the first time..I will never forget you and all the good times we shared..

Always remembered never forgotten..

I miss you and can't stop thinking of you. I have so many precious memories which i will hold onto forever. I love you Brian Emerson and will always love you! RIP my 60/40.

My heart aches with sadness knowing the loss you have suffered. He will be missed and remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. I am truly blessed to have known Brian and to have counted him as a good friend. I can`t help but remember the good times that we shared together, from WWF Pay-per-views and sleep overs in the tent to trips with the high school band and graduations. One of my favourite memories is when we tried to describe to someone how long we had known each other, to which we said ``We go way back...We go way back to Tee-Ball!`` I will carry these memories with me as a reminder of what a great person he was. Brian touched my life and showed me early on what true frienship meant. Rest peacefully my friend.

Brian, you were a great friend for many years, my best friend. We were like brothers. We grew apart as time went on but I never stopped loving you. You were like family and you will forever be missed and never forgotten. I'll always remember the good times we had laughing until we could barely catch our breath. You're in a better place now and I know that you're up there making everyone smile and looking down on all of us.

My deepest sympathies too all of the family and friends, I know he had a huge impact on many people's lives.
