Dear Elizabeth,
We Extend Our Sincere Sympathy To You and Family.

Although we no longer live in Essex County, Memories of Your Dad and Mom will always be cherished.

I, Don worked with Tony at the Green Giant for many years and the friendship which developed will never be forgotten. Being a Blacksmith from the old country, he was certainly a talented craftsman among other accomplishments, while gaining much respect from his peers.

Although since retirement, on occasion would meet by chance, and have visited quite enjoyably in their home many years ago. I also recall of attending the Harrow Fair on one occasion and when entering the main exhibit building, I felt a tug on my jacket and upon turning, your mother was smiling while mentioning to your dad "I knew that was Don".

Of course we were at your wedding although have not seen you since, however your Dad certainly with pride would speak of You, your spouse Fred and Family.

A memorable evening on December 19th. 1981 at the Cabota Club in Windsor was enjoyed with your mother and father when I presented him with a Green Giant Service Award for twenty-five years (a one thousand dollar gold watch and band) Initially Tony had steadfastly refused to attend, however in the end, he conceded only if I was to make the presentation, for which I proudly obliged.

Sincerely and with Great Appreciation To Have Known Your Mom & Dad,

Don & Patricia Borrowman.

Mrs. Ditzend was a wonderful woman, always thought highly of our family, as we did hers! We visited her a few times in Kingsville, always enjoyed her company. My sympathies to Liz and her family!
