Mary-Anne was the most spiritual person I know. She truly lived from the inside out. Her ability to connect with others from all walks of life was astounding. I loved her and will miss her beauty and honesty forever.

Dear Mike, Kate, Julie and Paul.
You have my sincerest sympathy in losing Mary-Anne.
Her delight in life lifted so many. Observing her at Peace House I saw her objective love in action.
My sister Mary and I lived across the street in Ottawa.
With her big blue expressive eyes we remember her talent at persuading her friends to phone her nun/piano teacher with a Nell voice and claim Mary-Anne was too sick to go to her lesson!
Her wonderful laugh will be always with
us. I'll hold the Mary-Anne memories forver.

Dear Michael, Kate and Julie, and to brother Paul. I am so very saddened to hear of Mary-Anne's passing. My memories go back to grade three when she and I were best of friends throughout lower school. We spent every moment together. I can only say that I am so very pleased that we actually made a point of getting together at the cottage a few years ago and have been in touch via email for years! Love to you all and god bless

To all who loved and knew her, the planet is a little poorer for the absence of her generosity, sense of humour, and easy joy.

To Michael, Kate, Julie, and The Rt. Honorable Paul Martin family....I know your mother and sister is with her Savior. This gladdens my heart but still tears are being shed even now as we think of Mary Anne's home going as she has left you to grieve her. Life will never be the same across the street. Her laughter, spontaneity, and her HUGE heart for those less fortunate will be greatly missed. Kate and Julie, all of us in the neighborhood will do our best to care for your dad. We love you.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Martin,

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your sister Mary-Anne. Not having met her, is one more reason to deeply regret not being able to accept your father's invitation to your parents' home, in 1969.
May the Good Lord take care of her husband Michael, along with Julie and Kate.
God Bless!

Mary Ann is now at peace with her dear parents, Nell and Paul who were special friends of my husband, Mike and me.
My sincere sympathy to the family. Mary Brogan, Windsor, Ontario

Mary-Anne,
Oh want fun times we had at Electa Hall, Assumption University. You were always up for an impromptu party. Your bear skin rug was a big hit on our floor. Your parents so graciously shared their home when we needed some respite.
I'm sorry we were unable to reconnect. I will never forget you & your bubbly personality. My deepest sympathies to your family.

`Deqr Michael, Julie and Katie and all of Mary-Anne's family,
I was so saddened to hear of Mary-Anne's passing. If we got in our car right now, we may be able to make it to the funeral if we drove straight thru for 12 hours. I guess we will be there in spirit, for sure, as the driving doesn't seem so feasible tonight. Mary-Anne was a one of a kind light to brighten up the struggles of so many in Minneapolis. I will always be grateful for how she has touched my life. Much love to all of you.
