So very sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. She truly was a wonderful woman.Growing up with Shirley all through grade school and then working at various jobs together, I always stayed informed of Gerry,s remarkable long life. I can attest to the fact that she never forgot you or your name lol and was so touched when she sent me a card when my husband passed away. You are all in my thoughts and prayers May God hold her in the palm of his hand

Gerry was a good friend of my Mom and Dad {Marg and Jack Burger}, who are both deceased. Harold was one of the groomsmen in my Mom and Dad's wedding, which took place at Holy Name of Mary Church, in Windsor, back in 1941. Harold also worked for Renaud House Movers, which my grandfather, Raymond Renaud, owned and was a distant cousin. I have stayed in contact with Gerry up until the time she moved to Cardinal Place and only spoke to her once since then. We had our picture taken together, along with her sister, at the Windsor Casino, two or three years ago and that's how I'll remember her. My Aunt Bonnie Renaud (Gord Renaud = deceased) phoned me yesterday with the sad news that Gerry had passed away. We'll miss her, but believe that she is upstairs with Harold, in a much happier place. Please accept my condolenses!

When she first got to Chateau, I was introducing her to one of the staff as my Great Aunt Gerry. She gave us a wink and said "I am great!" Yes you are. You will be missed, Aunt Gerry. ♥

Wonderful thoughts of Mrs. E and the whole family are with me forever.I will never forget. Love to all,

Through all of my life Mrs. Egan was always there. My mother Marie was proud to have had her as a very good friend. The musical plays she was involved with (big bows in there hair) put a smile on everyone's face. A glorious and wonderful lady.
