What a wonderful tribute Saturday was.
I will never again look at a box of Raisin Bran without smiling. (It was filled with candy. Mary doesn't eat Raisin Bran.)
Jerry was the kind of uncle everyone should be so lucky to have. He was a masterful storyteller and an amazing cook – if you tried his Russian dill pickles once you craved them all the time. One of my favorite memories will always be Jerry and Pa going crazy with the fireworks in the bank parking lot one 4th of July. He had the sweetest heart and the biggest laugh and he is greatly, greatly missed.
Jerry Giese was the most amazing soul I had the pleasure to know and love. I will miss him for eternity. Until we meet again Jerry, rest easy and please, know that we love you!
I'm truely sorry to hear about Jerry's passing. Thoughts of him will always bring a smile to those who knew him.
