Hey Guys - Sorry to hear about your Dads death. My first buck was shot with you guys back in 1982. Moved from Rapids in 1986 but always think of the Gruber bunch at deer season.

Our deepest sympathy to the Gruber family, and our dear friend Vi.
Dick and Vi embraced their relationship with God and each other, an example to family and friends, along with their "many" generous deeds done quietly and lovingly. Ken and I will never forget your kindnesses over the years, and your warm embrace through time. Friends of this caliber pass quietly through your life and journey once if you are lucky. Gods blessings to you all, we will see you all at the funeral.

It's always hard to say goodbye to your favorites and Dick was one of mine. Keep the Lord in your hearts to help you through the passing of your husband/father. He will surely be missed in my home. My family is here for you if you need us.
With Much Love,

I will always remember my uncle's laughter and that twinkle in his eye that got you wondering what he was up to! Our prayers and thoughts are with Aunt Vi and my cousins and families.

Dick Sr is one of the most influential people in my life. Through my friendship with his son and many years of spending time with Sr during softball teams and deer camp I have learned from him; You can always figure it out. If you save it you'll use it. You always have more in your tank. Toughing it out is more rewarding. If people need your help-give it. Share your treasures.
