Bette, my sympathies are with you. You both always looked so happy sitting in front of Frank and me in church on Sunday. Herb always let my deceased husband, Robert Phillips, bow hunt in the woods behind your house and it put much venison on our table to feed five hungry mouths through the lean years for which we were so grateful. We bought all our hay from Herb and he was a warm and generous man to know. Our many years on Seneca Road hold wonderful memories of our neighbors. He will be missed by all of us. We are in Florida right now and I just heard of his death or we most assuredly would have been there for the funeral. God Bless you Bette.
