Kenneth Pollard, 86, passed away Nov. 15, 2013 in Modesto, Calif.
He was born April 25, 1927, a son of Clement and Ruth Scurlock Pollard.
Ken grew up in Sabina. He graduated from Sabina High in 1945, served our nation in Italy immediately after World War II, and graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in architecture. Ken worked for the now-famous Huber Gang of Huber Heights, Ohio, for 22 years before moving to California, where he remarried and resided in Modesto.
He is survived by his spouse, Lupe', who continues to live in Modesto; his son, Gregory (Kimberly) Pollard; grandchildren, Jacquelin, Joseph and Jennifer of Dayton; daughters, Janice (Dean) Wellmeier and Nichole, of Waynesville and former wife, Joan Frisby, also originally from Sabina.
He was buried in California. A celebration of life and memorial service will be held Sunday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. at the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina. A light lunch will be served after the service.
