My sympathy goes out to the family during your time of grief. May God's loving-kindness comfort you and help you through this difficult time. (Psalm 119:50,76)

Jeanne and I were high school friends. She was kind, compassionate, popular. We enjoyed going to Howard Johnson's and Beaupre's drug store for coffee cabinets (milkshakes) or for a Maple Walnut ice cream cone to meet other friends from Woonsocket High and Mt.St Charles.I texted her about coming to our 60th High School reunion since I couldn't make our 50th and would keep in touch. Two days later, I saw her area code and smiled. It was her kind neighbor informing me she had passed away the previous Sunday.

Back in the 1950's, my family lived next door to the Houle family on Winter St. in Woonsocket. My parents were friendly with Jeanne's parents. On occasion, my mother and I would go to their home to have Anita do our hair. Sometimes I would see Jeanne and Lorraine and often I would hear about them through Anita. I often would see them in their backyard and, although I was a bit younger, always admired the 2 sisters. I join with my 2 brothers, Bob and Ken, and send our sympathy and sadness on the passing of Jeanne.
Sincerely, Margie Stein
