Michelle, Marc and Johnnie - I shared the cabin with your father my first year as counselor in the Warriors in 1956; he was the head counselor and just married to your mother as I recall. They had an apartment at Linger Longer and she worked in the office. Carol and I treasure the memories of our friendship over the many years we were at Monomoy together. We have often smiled and laughed at some of the 'adventures' you and our children got into around the Cape Cod House, Laundry and kitchen boy's quarters; and, of course, the Baptist summer Bible school. Your parents were beautiful human beings and we had the good fortune to call them our friends. "Scat" and Carol McIntyre

I am so sad to hear this. Silly though it may be, my sister and I remember Marc so fondly as he rescued our floating ducks from sure disaster when we were very young when they blew away during an intensely windy afternoon at the beach on Linnell Landing. He leaped into the water, with no thought for his own safety and rescued those bits of plastic. Sending warm thoughts to his wonderful family.

Michelle, Marc and John --

Please accept my condolences on the passing of your Dad. He was such a fixture and steady presence at CCSC. I'm so glad to learn that he had such a full and fruitful life!

All the best,

Dave Burwick
