I downloaded Wolverton Mt for a terminally man in hospice. He and I sang it together. He knew every word and it brought both he and I much pleasure that day. So thank you Mr King...you brought happiness you were not aware of.

Jay I have known you since JR.high at Linwood and knew the family too, My heart goes out to you and family. You had a wonderful father and mother.I love you like family and if you need me call me. You use to knock on my door with your drum sticks and use to practice in my carport.

I'm sorry to hear of Mr. King's passing. My mother was a Woolverton from Woolverton Mt. and Clifton Clowers was a real person, though not what the song depicted. You can read more about the Woolvertons on the Woolverton FB page. (spelling was changed for the song but both spellings go back to same ancestors).
