My son served in U.S A F during Desert Storm. I was proud of the way the General waged the war. Thank you for your service to our country, then and after it ended. Rest in Peace.

Sleep well, General. We all sleep better because of your service and efforts. It's difficult to draw a tear from and old "mud soldier" but, like everything else that you've accomplished, you got a few from me this morning. To your entire family, sir, thank you for sharing him with our country.

The world is a lesser place now. A true hero is gone. My sincerest condolences to the family. You were more than two dimensional and cared deeply for your troops. You brought most of them back from the war and for that I am eternally grateful. I am honored to have served under your command. With a heavy heart and utmost respect, I salute you.

Prayers and thoughts go out to everyone who was touched by this incredible man. My brother and I had the pleasure of meeting him while he was in Toledo, Ohio promoting his book. Shaking his hand and speaking with him was a true honor. Thoughts and prayers go out the the Schwarzkopf Family.
