South of Heaven was the current sabbath bloody sabbath and made me realise that metal was and is the future of where the rock the radio stations will be in 15 or so years. Sorta like f1 racing technology filtering down to family cars in a few decades to exceed technological standards. Heavier. Darker. Faster. Also has irs own history that I look back on with fondness- jeff was one of the F1 guitarists that built beautiful racing music that even F1 drivers would appreciate for its innovation, technological advancements, and out-of- this-world execution which to this day has been expanded upon,, influenced new forms of metal as Hannemann has been one of the great mechanix (!) Pioneers and drivers in the circuit of steel.

Dear Kathy,
I am so very sorry for your loss. My husband, Brian, was a HUGE Slayer fan. I lost him, suddenly, in 1/2012. He was 47. He also died of liver failure. You most likely not read this, but if you do...you need to know how much his music meant to a lot of people. When Brian found Slayer, it was like he found his voice, an outlet so to speak. And dont spend too much time alone. And know that I share your grief. Please take care and find strength where you can. Sincerely, Joan Walters Pahrump,NV. Formerly from Newark, CA so went to many, many shows.
