Thank you for speaking out against war, looking out for Social Security, and veterans' need for care. My mother's side of my family enjoys/enjoyed St. Petersburg. May your spirit live on. Feel free to ask God, on my behalf, that the people on earth could possibly benefit from a new/better plan than He originally came up with. In other words, send reinforcements !!! :) ♡♥♡
You have always been one of the 'good guys.' From the time I have memories of you I have always cherished and admired you. You saved my life in every way possible. You gave me what I have today. Words cannot describe the admiration, and respect that I have for you. You are my hero and my mentor. I will never forget you as long as I live, and for as long as I live I will strive to make you proud of me. That is the only way I know how to repay you. I love you dad.
It has been an honor and a privilege to have known this great man. He has touched so many lives in his years of public service and his selfless dedication to Pinellas County and our nation will not be forgotten.
Bill Young was a name I learned early in 1982 when I was assigned to MacDill AFB. His name was always in a positive light that I have said ofter "... was always beyond the call of duty." Bill, again thank you for your service.
Bill - I will always remember your kindness and support for me and the Sailors onboard USS PEARL HARBOR. Thank you for your many years of exceptional service to our nation, your constituents and to all who served on active duty. RIP - You are greatly missed.
Beverly, I had no idea what I was in for when I got word a congressman wanted to meet me a humble SSG deployed to Macedonia. But I've treasured our friendship ever since. Bill was truly a great American, and more who seek office should seek to support our troops as he did his entire career. God Bless you and him.
SFC Dirk Willden
Bill was sent by God to this earth to bless people and show good will. I cherish the honor of his presence and what he did for me, my family and this great Nation. One day I will thank him again.

To the family of Congressman Bill Young;
Although we didn't know Congressman and Bev personally, they played a very important part in our lives and the lives of our son and his family. I know without a doubt that my son would not be alive today if they had not intervened. They cared about what was happening with him when he got back from Iraq. They made it possible for him to be put into the Wounded Warriors program so that he could get the right help he needed.
Congressman Young was a very special man and will be truly missed by the thousands of people he and Bev helped. Thank you so much Bill and Bev for your loving and caring spirit. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Sincerely, Nancy and Guy Sheble

To Beverly and family:
Words cannot express the sincere appreciation and admiration of your loved one.
We are but one family of thousands that were personally touched by his gracious assistance, and yours, Bev, when we were concerned about our deployed soldier overseas. You both were there for us.
Prior to this, I did not miss voting for the Congressman every year he was up for election/re-election. And, there are thousands like myself. How could we not? Every year he did so much to bring resources and assistance to our county. He was approachable, caring, and one of the most dedicated public servants to his public every to have served in Congress.
Sincere condolences to the Young family. We will miss your loved one. Thank you for sharing him with Florida, with the Nation. He was truly a good man, respected and appreciated and he lives on in the hearts of everyone he touched.
God Bless you all.
Carol Simmons and family, including

I miss you, Bill, and am having trouble accepting the fact that you won't be coming through the front door. You suffered for so long and you fought so hard to stay with us. I'm happy your final flight was on the wings of an angel. Rest in Peace, honey. I will always love you.
We all miss you dearly. You spent your entire life selflessly giving to others, asking for nothing in return. You saved countless lives, and enriched many more. Now, you can relax and enjoy your just reward. Pray for us, please. We need lots of help down here. With fondest love, Karl, Beth, Bonnie, Jon, Margaret, Todd, Cora, and Grandma Van
my deepest condolences to all of the young family. congressman young's name became a household name from the time we moved to largo, fl. in 1957. each election year i was proud to vote for a man that i had grown up knowing through the years and had such great respect and admiration for. my mother worked at 2 banks and always remarked to our family if she had waited on mr. young on any given day. my first thought when i heard of mr. young's passing was that my mom and dad would be standing there in Heaven welcoming congressman young on the start of his next journey. may God be with the family giving you strength each day.
Dear Young family, I am so sorry for your loss. Your entire family helped my family during our son's stay in the hospital in Bethesda and during his surgery. Please know that our hearts are with you in your time of need. If there is anything we can do please let us know. Love, the family of Lance Corporal Nicholas J Theriault.
Dear Young Family,
It is with a sad heart that I must send this letter.
I wish to provide my sincerest condolences on the passing of your husband & father, Congressman C. W. Bill Young.
I would like to take this time to again thank Congressman Young for all his work and support in establishing the Bay Pines VA wildlife refuge and for all the years of giving and great accomplishments here in Florida and also in Washington D.C.
I had requested his assistance with creating this refuge and he honored me by sending me a letter regarding this and also by making this wonderful project come to reality. On April 4, 1982 the Bay Pines VA wildlife refuge was created which has allowed many veterans and visitors to the adjacent park the opportunity to view the wildlife.
In addition, now Congressman Young will always be at rest at Bay Pines and in spirit will protect the VA's wildlife setting.
The State of Florida, the United States Government and the world overall has lost an honorable, hardworking and wonderful person who will be missed deeply by all.
God Bless you and your family,
Tony Lozon E.C Ret.

Beverly and sons,
My deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband and father. Even though I was never a resident of your district, Mr. Young helped me several times over the past 20 years. I also remember Bill, Jr as I was the assistant in his kindergarten class. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. If you ever need a friend in Northern VA, I will be here for you.
He did a lot for Pinellas County, Florida and helped appropriate government funding for many projects - improving roads and bridges, Tampa Bay Water Reservoir, US Marine and Geological Bldg in downtown St. Pete named after him, brought SRI to downtown St. Pete, funded the Bay Pines Veterans Hospital complex and multiple buildings, visited veterans in the hospital, etc. Though we differ greatly in other issues and believes, I acknowledge and respect him for the good things he did do for his constituents and community. My condolences to his family.
We are so sorry for your loss.
During the past several years we've contacted Congressman Young's office for help with various Federal issues. We may not always get the answer we wanted but we ALWAYS got a prompt, personal answer. Felt like he truly represented "we the people". So rare!
