My sympathy to Tom and the Poberezny family. I like to think of my dad and yours hanging out in that big hangar telling skydiving and flying stories. You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers....Kathie Duell Fraederich

From Hales Corner to Oshkosh. A friend who will be missed, but never forgotten...

The EAA and aviation has lost a great man. Paul was the founder of sport aviation and a friend to all who loved flying. Even those of us who did not fly but kept them safe have lost a great friend. Even after the strike in 81 Paul remained a friend to me after time had passed. Soar high friend the weather is just perfect for flying!

Thank you Paul.

My sympathy to Audrey, Tom, & Bonnie. I recall the very early days in the Hales Corners area, starting at the house, and progressing to the small building at 11311 Forest Home Avenue, before relocating to Oshkosh. Paul was a terrific personality, and had a wonderful family that always had a smile on their faces.

I have many memories working with Paul in the airplane factory. He was special in ways the masses will not know. His quiet compassion as well as the desire for perfection allowed him to become the legend.
