We always enjoyed seeing Ann's smile when she would visit our flower shop. We send our loving thoughts out to all her good friends and family as she was such a thoughtful person who always put so much thought into sending the"perfect" flower gift to all her friends and family and those neighbors were very special to her too. She would often tell us how greatful she was to her neighbors who helped her so much. We will very much miss Ann! She always put a smile on our faces right up until she was in our shop just a few months ago. We will keep all of her family in our prayers during this time....From, All of Ann's friends at Lincolnway Flower Shop

Im having a hard time bringing myself to write on here. This means I must say farewell to my friend. I miss you more than you could know. We spent many appts laughing and joking at the salon. And when you had a period of time w/out hair...we laughed at dinners instead. Our clients become our friends...but you were our family. You were a role model to me. I always told you I want to be like you when grow up...lol. You are one class act hard that will be to follow! You fought w/ more dignity than I believe I have ever seen. Makeup , hair and jewelry to match...right til the very last time I saw you. What a great fight. And you went out on your terms...not cancers. Every time I hear the song "I will survive" ...a vivid memory of you will come to mind. So I will toast my next drink to you...my dear friend...miss and luv you!

Craig, Alan, Cynthia, Trudi, Amanda, Kevin, Chandler, Spencer and Olivia ~ as blessed as many of us were to know and love Ann; all of you were truly the ones blessed to be given such a wonderful woman as your "Mom" or "Granny". I know that Duke and Ann are so happy to be back together again after all these years. The last 28 years of my life has truly been better with having Ann as my friend. I loved her very much and will dearly miss her. My God bless each of you during this sad time. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Love ~ Tama

Ann and I met when my parents and I moved to Bedford in 1954, and I enrolled in Bedford H.S. as a Sophomore. Ann and I shared classes and quickly became friends. Ann soon introduced me to her childhood friends and we all had three wonderful years together until we graduated; the reunions over these many years have been so special!
A few years later Ann and I were working and sharing an apartment in D.C. As fate would have it, Ann introduced me to a nice young man she worked with, and in 1961 she was Matron of Honor at our wedding. In 1978 fate brought our two families together again when Ed and I moved our family to York.
Ed and I have so much to thank Ann and Duke for, including many wonderful memories.
We want to extend our heartfelt sympathy to Craig and Alan and families, and to Ann's brothers and families.

Aunt Ann was indeed a very special woman, Mom, wife and all around great lady. I loved her smile and she will be missed by many. She raised 2 great sons and loved her grandkids so much. Celebrating a life well lived- she will be in our hearts and memories forever. Craig, Alan, Cynthia, Trudy and kids- our deepest sympathy and love
