Hi Cory-didn't know you but, your Grandmother is our pastor here at First Church in McClure. She is a great person and tells us about heaven and what will happen if we don't listen. I never wrote a note to anyone in heaven before. Just wanted to tell you that you sound like a great guy while here on earth. You now have all that you will ever need. God is wonderful.

Cory,
I first met you in all our classes at the YCFS. You had an infectious laugh and a great attitude. I got to know you more with our joint training exercises at Eureka. You were an honorable man. I am truly sorry for your family's loss but I'm happy that I know you are with the Lord. I know that the He is telling you "Well done my good and faithful servant". God Bless you and your family. Your presence here on earth will be missed greatly.

Cory you'll be greatly missed. In fire school we had our good days and bad but mainly good when I was having a bad day. You kept my spirits up. And kept me going. I said my final goodbye today. Rest in peace Cory. We got the line from here.

Cory and I used to be friends and play a lot as children due to the fact that our fathers were friends. Though Cory has not been part of my life since childhood, I always thought fondly of him and when thinking of my childhood, Cory would be one of the first people that would pop into my mind. We would run around outside and race in his backyard all day. We would incessantly sing along to a tape that played "Little Bunny Foo Foo" and watch "We're Back" like it was the only movie in the world. I regret not getting back in touch with Cory as we grew older and I regret not knowing the amazing man he so obviously had become. He, along with his family and fiance, Brittini, will forever be in my thoughts.

I did not have the honor of knowing Cory on a more personal level, I am part of his Air Force DEP group. Cory always came in with a big smile, friendly attitude and treated everyday as a blessing. Cory never spoke of his enlistment in regards to himself, but in regards to others. "I believe that it is God's will for me to help those that can't help themselves." I can't imagine a finer quality of a man than he. You deserve all of heaven.

Cory's family and fiance
I only met Cory once. He helped make an uncomfortable situation a little bit more easy. He came up and started talking to me like we were old friends. Cory eased my mind and got me to laugh. He will be sadly missed by many. I am so very sorry for your loss.
