Dear Heininger family
It was an honor to have cared for Debbie 40yrs ago. I remember well because I was to go to MD with Debbie when she was transferred from York Hospital. I was unable to go because I had to attend a bridal shower (mine)!! I remember Betty Spahr and I went down to see Debbie. She was a very courageous patient and the staff of 7 South really loved caring for her. Debbie was a true inspiration.
May God Bless you and keep you in His care.
Dear Dotty and Family
I remember being with you, Dotty, at the beginning of Debbie's illness and how very brave and loving you all were.
We traveled back and forth to Maryland together. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Debbie and you are two of the bravest souls I have ever encountered and I wish you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Love, Barbara Palastak
Remembering your great love story today and always.
Dear Heininger family... I just heard of Debbie's passing, She was the strongest, most determine, person I ever knew. I fondly remember the time I spent with Debbie in our teenage years where you all made me feel like part of your family. I feel very lucky and proud to say she was part of
my life. I have to laugh when I think of some of the things we did then. She was "one of a kind" and will surely be missed by all she touched. - Love you all! Dolly (Romao) Martin
Dear Heininger Family.....Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family. Love Shannon & Arla

It sounds like she was a candle of brightness in so many people's lives.I hope it comofrts all of you to know that she took her last breath with her loved ones, and her next breath with Jesus. Dear Dottie, (And the entire Heininger family, My prayers are with you as you go through this time of sorrow in Debbies passing, and yet a time of joy, knowing that she is with our Lord and Savior, and probably has not stopped running around yet! She truly was an inspiration in her ability to smile and joke even despite her pain and suffering. She embraced life as if she had no limitations, and through those very things, was able to add hope and light heartedness, and was able to let His light shine, through her. She also was very blessed to have a family who loved her dearly. I pray for peace for all of you at this time...she already has it, Love , Brenda Carr
Hi, Heininger family, I opened the newspaper and saw Debbie's obituary this AM (that picture was screaming you, Dottie, and very pretty) and was so touched by your words. The beauty of her purpose in life which you clearly wrote made me proud to have known your family, as well as Dyann's tribute. It was so special and was inspiring to me, even as a nurse, which I have been. I saw you, Dottie, and Debbie, last year as she was finishing an Apple Hill drs appt and she smiled at you when she boarded the red bus. She was lucky to have you all as her family. RIP, Debbie and I'll say a prayer for your family tonight.
