What a long and painful year since we last held you close and wished you a happy 50th.
Little did we know we would not have you here with us this Christmas Day. We can only believe that your celebration in heaven with Jesus can only be glorious.
You have a lot of departed loved ones with you especially your baby brother Ken. We love you and miss you every single day.

Jim, Carolyn and Family - I just recently heard about Jimmy's passing. I can't begin to express how sorry I am. Of course I remember Jimmy as a little boy growing up as my neighbor and the many times I babysat him and his brothers. Please know that I am thinking about all of you. I am just sorry that I didn't hear about this sooner so I could have attended the service. Take care and know I am thinking of you.
Dear Becky and family, I've just recently learned of Jim's passing. I never met Jimbo in person, but he and I corresponded through an online forum where we became pretty good friends over the past five or six years. About three years ago, Jimbo found out I was a fan of the Steve Miller Band and a couple weeks later, he sent me a brand new box set of DVD's from SMB's live concert in Chicago. He was just that kind of guy. I grieve his passing, but can't begin to imagine what you, his family, are going through even now four months later. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you try to find a way to move on without your loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend.
Jimbo's passing leaves me feeling empty and wishing I could have somehow intervened. John Donne's poem describes perfectly how I feel:
No man is an island,
Entire of itself.
Each is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thine own
Or of thine friend's were.
Each man's death diminishes me,
For I am involved in mankind.
Therefore, send not to know
For whom the bell tolls,
It tolls for thee.
May you find peace, strength, hope, and happiness again in the days ahead by trusting in Jesus Christ our Lord.
You were a great inspiration to me, Jim. I'll always remember your willingness to help.
We are so sorry for your loss. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
My heart hurts for you all. There are no words to take away the hurt or they would have already been said. I will be thinking of you all in my prayers and thoughts of healing. Take care of yourselves. Much love to you all.
Rich and Tina and Family, Kay and I grieve with you on the loss of Jimmy. I remember Rich talking about Jimmy and it was obvious how close they were. Sudden loss is never easy. I'm sure with time you will be comforted by your memories of the good times, and through your stories of Jimmy he will live on in your family and be loved always.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
