May you rest in peace Mike. God bless your family and friends.
I am sad to learn of the passing of Mike...one of my classmate's and friend from the class of '72. He was such a kind and fun guy and I was glad that we reconnected on FB 4 years ago. You will be missed, Mike.
I feel a great sense of loss with the passing of Mike. I went to school with him. He was such a great person and I so enjoyed reconnecting with him on Facebook. Gone too soon. You will always be remembered as a great member of the class of 1972. May you rest in peace.
was great to know him went to school together rest in peace Mike
Mike was a dedicated member of the York County Astronomical Society and he was a great asset to the club. Mike was always the first to raise his hand to volunteer when a task was at hand. Mike was a past club treasurer and diligent in his execution of the office. He could be relied upon to help with any of the necessary functions of the Mason Dixon Star Party - from registration desk to set-up and tear-down to trash collection and compacting. He carried out many repairs to the Observatory at Rudy Park. He helped with the moonlight canoe rides at Lake Redmond and had his telescope set up for the public to view the heavens above. No task was too large or too small for him to tackle. We will miss his humor, his laughter and his companionship.
Mike was a good man and a great and faithful friend. When I needed help at the star party Mike was there. Not only did he take care of the registration desk but he made the infamous trash compactor so the cost of the star party wouldn't be impacted by a huge trash removal bill. Every year after that, Mike would come with the compactor and take care of business.
He didn't mince words but he always spoke from his heart. When he became aware of a particularly hurtful situation he came to me so I could deal with the matter. He had my back and I was grateful then and I always will be. I will miss Mike and I thankful to have known him and I am especially thankful to have had Mike for a friend.
He always brought a smile to the faces of all the people he touched- his smile was infectious.
Rest in peace my firend.
One of our stars has faded and he will be very much missed. Mike was a valued member of the York County Astronomical Society.

We will miss your talents and fellowship at the Moonlight Boat Rides at Lake Redman. We have many years of memories that will go on for ever. I will not be able to make the service but I know many people will be celebrating your life. I will be thinking of you and am glad that you were awarded a certificate of appreciation at our 2013 Volunteer Recognition Reception in March. At our next boat ride on July 19th we will have a candle lit there in your honor.

YOU WILL FOREVER BE IN OUR HEARTS! WE LOVE YOU & MISS YOU!
Sorry for your loss! He will be missed!
Mr. Mike, You are a true angel and have been taken away from us way too soon. Together we shared the love for roller skating. I will always remember the skating competions and the one at Ches-A-Rena when we skated the Rhythm Blues and survived (barely). Tie on those skates and show everyone in Heaven what you can do. I will miss you and your bright smile.
A good man, who will be missed.
