For some reason this morning I thought of the Stallman family and googled Sue only to learn that I was too late. 'Mrs. Stallman" was a wonderful first employer to me when I babysat for your family in the late 60's. I send the family my condolences and memories of a wonderful woman who cared so deeply for her family.
Sorry to hear about Sue's passing. My mom and I both worked for her at the classic needle. My mom just passed away in Nov, and Sue's funeral was the same day on what would have been my mom's 70th birthday. My thoughts are with you all.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your mom was a such a joy and welcomed me to her home and flock with such warmth and enthusiasm which I will never forget. You are all in my prayers. With Love,
Dear Ben and family. I was so sorry to hear about Sue - I did not know she was ill. I have frantically been trying to unearth your Christmas card with your address, but this way I I can at least send my condolences to you and your wonderful family. Lots of love, Betsy Stallman Vickers
A friend introduced me to cross stitching which lead me to the door of The Classic Needle and it's wonderful owner Sue Stallman. Numerous stops to the "Needle" resulted in Sue offering me a job. I have very fond, fun memories of working at the Classic Needle with Sue, Gail and Rosemary. Our paths crossed once in a while after the shop closed, and we would spend a few minutes catching up. Thanks Sue for the cherished memories of this chapter in my life, you will be truly missed!
Anne, Vince and family,
The memory of the feeling of family was the best part of going to the stallman home.
Thank you,Sue, for always opening your door to Anne's many crazy high school friends.
My husband and I were so happy to celebrate Anne and Vince's wedding. Seeing Sue dance! Loving her children and husband!
Betsy wrote to tell me of the passing of "Sue." I consider your family as part of my own and send you my deepest sympathies. God's Blessings to your family, Ben.
